How Much?

SFB Wealth Management works on a fee or commission basis. For pensions and investments, we restrict the amount of commission we will accept from providers to the equivalent of the fee we would charge. Commission can differ tremendously between investments and pension providers, and we believe that limiting the amount we receive demonstrates our independence – as we do not benefit financially from recommending one provider over another.

The majority of contracts SFB Wealth Management recommend do not tie clients in for a set period. Clients should be wary of contracts that tie them in, as this is normally to recover high commissions paid to the sales adviser. If there are any tie-in periods, SFB Wealth Management will be upfront about this and give you the opportunity to decide whether you would prefer to select another product or service.
